From Pause to Purpose: The Story That Sparked a New Chapter

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had more space in my days than usual.
Not just on my calendar, but in my spirit. And I’ve used that space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with myself, with my creativity, and with what I want to build next.

This season of transition gave me time to check in with my mental health and practice tools that help me process the kind of change that doesn’t always come with a warning. If you’ve ever been laid off or felt like your professional story was suddenly edited mid-sentence, you know the feeling. And if you do know that feeling, I made something for you.

✍🏾 Introducing Fin Was Fired (Kinda)

This short, illustrated story was born out of a moment that I think many people can relate to. It’s about a woman named Fin, who gives her all at work. She was visible, reliable, and growing in her role. And then, one day, her role was gone.

The story follows what happens next. Not the new job search or the polished pep talk, but the quiet parts. The grief. The rest. The reminder that you’re still valuable, even when you feel a little lost.

It’s not a guide. It’s not a how-to.
It’s a soft landing. A moment of reflection. A little truth-telling.
And it’s free to read right here.

💼 What I’m Building Next

Creating “Fin Was Fired (Kinda)” reminded me of the power of telling honest stories about work—those parts we experience deeply but rarely discuss openly.

That’s why I launched @ItsTifffromWork, a new Instagram platform where I’ll create content for people navigating the world of work with heart, humor, and clarity.

Whether you’re managing up, dealing with difficult coworkers, figuring out how to advocate for yourself, or just trying to make it through the week without losing your confidence, this space is for you.

Expect real workplace scenarios. Communication tips. Reflections on leadership. And a lot of “I’ve been there too” energy.

✨ A Soft Start, A Real Shift

I didn’t plan this pivot. But I am choosing what I create from it. My hope is that what I’m building helps others navigate their moments with more grace and support.
